Tissah and Indi is a project that combines slow fashion with environmental art. We are inspired to explore the boundaries of art and fashion by getting art off the walls and onto our bodies.

This series of artwork- CityZen- is based on seven paintings of Spanish artist Indi (inyigoardanaz.com ) inspired by the rich fauna of Asia, and the relationship between humans and nature. Each painting is connected to the Chakra philosophy, relating to energy centers within the body.

We have chosen silk as our canvas for this wearable art series. Masterfully spun and intricately handwoven, the silk shawls have a beautiful sheen and fall to them. We hope you treasure this unique blend of luxury and art.

This piece is connected to the middle or the heart chakra. The green color and the orangutan represent compassion, affection, and love. The heart chakra is the integration point for the seven chakras of the body since it connects the lower and upper chakras, acting as a bridge between earthly matters and higher aspirations. It comes as no surprise that the heart chakra is all about our ability to love and show compassion. When the heart chakra symbol is open, you are able to forgive and you feel lighter.
